At Concord Road we believe in preparing our young people with the spiritual
tools they need to make it through the difficult years they are currently in,
and to develop a faith of their own that will continue to grow over a lifetime.
In order to achieve this goal we use many different activities and tools.
Throughout the year these activities include: Bible Bowl, Devotionals,
Evangelism University, Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes, Fall Retreat, Spring
Training, Summer Camp, Super Sonic Sunday’s, Service Projects, Trunk or Treat,
Vacation Bible School, Creation Museum, Exposure Youth Camp, Summer Youth Series,
Latin American Missions, and much more. We also use different tools to reach
our goals. These tools begin with the Bible and parents. We also use different
forms of technology to reach our teens and parents effectively in today’s culture.
You can be sure that our group of young people is a family working together to:
Focus on strengthening our earthly families.
Focus on strengthening our spiritual family and realizing our role in it.
Focus on the truth and reality of Christianity.
Focus on working with and encouraging evangelism among the youth.
All 6th‐12th grade students are invited and encouraged to participate in any
programs and events in our Youth Group. Grade promotions occur on the first
Sunday in June, so that recent 5th graders enter Middle School, recent 8th
graders enter High School, and Seniors “graduate.” Graduates are invited to
participate with the Youth Group during the summer after their graduation.
