Scott & Julie McFarlin will be taking a group of 10 middle schoolers to help serve at the Youth Encouragement Services (YES) Christmas store on Saturday, December 14, from noon–4p.m. We will leave from the church after Breakfast with Santa at 11:30.
Wilma Tolbert, 91 year old mother of Tommy Tolbert, passed away on Sunday, December 1. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 4.
There will be a Pot Luck get together for John & Amy Pope on Sunday, December 8, following evening services. Bring appetizers, finger foods, sandwiches, desserts, etc..enough for your family and to share. John is leaving for Afghanistan in January.

Jewell Tamble, aunt of Lori Bailey, passed away on Sunday, November 17. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, at Hillsboro Church of Christ.

The Tennessee Children’s Home “Change for the Children” Coin Drive for 2013 has begun! The money raised from our drive will go toward our on-campus school. The pick up date will be during our spring food drive in March & April of 2014.
Kids in grades K-12 & the L.O.G.S. group (65 +) are invited to join this important ministry. Students and adults will be grouped into a new Mentor/Buddy team of 2-3 people.
The Concord Road Ladies Bible Class will start back up again after the holidays. They meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:15 a.m. in the Tea Room with Jerry Weldon. They are studying “The Sermon On The Mount” All ages are invited!
