Concord Road Church of Christ is a congregation of New Testament Christians who want to share with others the joy that they have found and who strive to accomplish God's will for them. We hope that you will like what you learn about the congregation and God's word via this Web site.

SYMPATHY
Our sympathy is extended to Gina Rose on the passing of her stepmother, Annette Rose, on Thursday, March 30. Arrangements have not yet been finalized, but Gina wants to thank everyone for the prayers, cards, and love shown to her & her family during this difficult time.

LADS TO LEADERS DEBATE
The congregation is invited to the final run through of our Lads to Leaders Debate on Sunday, April 2, at 2:30 p.m. in the new Youth Area downstairs to be the “audience” for this practice. Please see Kevin Hulen with any questions.

COME & GO GAME NIGHT CANCELLED
Come & Go Game Night will not meet on Friday, April 7, due to the upcoming Family Retreat. It will resume on April 21.

LIPSCOMB ACADEMY CHORUS CONCERT
The Lipscomb Academy Concert Chorus will be performing on Sunday, April 23. The young men will lead our evening worship and then the chorus will perform. A reception will be held following the performance. Please plan to bring lots of appetizers & finger foods. Come see our own singing stars: Rowan Barrett, Holden Montgomery, Keller Montgomery & Addison McFarlin.

LADIES BIBLE CLASS LUNCH
The Ladies Bible Class will be taking the bus to Henpeck Village Market on Lewisburg Pike in Franklin for lunch after Bible class on Tuesday, April 4. Please let Lori Locke know if you will be going.

SAFETY TEAM TRAINING SESSION
The Safety Team will hold a training session on Sunday, April 30, from 4:30- 6:00 p.m. in Fellowship A. for both current Safety Team members as well as new members wishing to participate on the Safety Team. Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend this training session. For more information please see Matt Barnes or Justin Zelnik.

SISTERS IN CHRIST BUNNY SWAP
The Sisters in Christ will have a Bunny Swap at the home of Emily Gray (3109 Ballenger Dr. in Nolensville) on Saturday, April 8, at 9:00 a.m. Please bring a $10 wrapped bunny item to swap & a brunch food item to share. You can sign up on the Sisters in Christ bulletin board, but signing up is not required.

WORLD CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING BENEFIT DINNER
The World Christian Broadcasting Annual Benefit Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin/Cool Springs Embassy Suites. Andy Baker & Walt Leaver will be the speakers. For more information or reservations contact see the bulletin board across from Melissa’s office.

LADS TO LEADERS DEBATE PRACTICE & DINNER
The Lads to Leaders Debate Practice & Dinner will be held on Friday, March 31, at 6:00 p.m. in the Tea Room. The meal will be catered. See Kevin Hulen for more information.

K-5TH GRADE EGG HUNT
The K-5th Grade Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 1, in Fellowship A from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. and on the church grounds. What to bring: A dozen candy-filled eggs and of course an Easter basket per child, $7.00 per family for pizza & a few families to provide some desserts. RSVP’s are required so that we have an accurate head count for food.  If you plan to attend this event contact Vonda Rhodes so that she can get an accurate head count for pizza / dessert. 

TENNESSEE CHILDREN'S HOME FOOD & COIN DRIVE
For over 100 years the Tennessee Children's Home has been helping children in need and they need our help!  Now through April 9 there will be boxes in the east & west foyers for dropping off food & supplies for them. *They have also requested that each family consider giving $15 or more in cash or check that can be picked up along with the food & supplies. You may give your donation to Scott McFarlin or the church office. (If you have been collecting “Change for the Children” coin banks the deadline to turn those in is also April 9.)
List of needed items: Bisquick, Baked Beans, Honey Mustard Dressing (non-refrigerated), Instant Potatoes, Kool-Aid (canisters), Canned Tuna, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Velveeta Cheese, Large Bath Towels (white), Liquid Laundry Detergent, Kitchen/Bathroom Spray Cleaner, Paper Towels, Men’s Deodorant, Aluminum Foil & Loose Leaf Paper (standard or college rule).

ANNUAL LEADERETTES LUNCHEON
The Annual Lads to Leaders Ladies Luncheon will be held on Sunday, April 2, immediately following Bible class. All ladies of the congregation are invited to come and support our young ladies as they practice for the upcoming Lads to Leaders convention. Please sign up outside Melissa Tolbert's office if you plan on attending.

CONGREGATIONAL WEDDING DESSERT SHOWER
There will be a congregational dessert wedding shower for Jessamyn Barrett & Matthew Defendefer on Sunday, April 2, after evening services. Please bring lots of desserts to share! They are registered at Target & Bed Bath & Beyond.

INNER CITY MINISTRY CATFISH DINNER
The Annual Nashville Inner City Ministry Catfish Dinner will be held at the Nashville Inner City Ministry at 1000 Apex St. on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31. The fundraising event begins at 6:30 p.m. both nights. A sign-up sheet is on the Nashville Inner City Ministry bulletin board in the east hallway. Bus transportation will be available from the church building on Thursday night only departing at 5:30 p.m. See Jeff Hammond or Chad Westmoreland for more information.

CONCORD ROAD FAMILY RETREAT
This spring, April 7-9, Concord Road will host its first ever family retreat. We have reserved Monte Sano State Park Lodge in Huntsville, AL We have lined up some great speakers to focus on families. We will learn together, play together, and definitely grow together while we discuss God's plan for families. Exciting mountain biking trails, beautiful and unique hiking trails, frisbee golf and even a planetarium. It's the perfect place for you and your family to come together. Questions? LITTLE LEADERS
Little Leaders will begin meeting on Sunday, April 9, in the auditorium at 5:00 p.m. They will meet every other Sunday. This program is for 2nd graders and below who wish to learn song leading skills. Please see Cammie or Mandi Neal for more information.

ATTENTION ALL MEN: "MORNINGS WITH THE SON"
“Mornings with the Son” meets every Thursday at 6:00 a.m. for a time of Bible reading, thoughts and prayer here at the building. See Jeff Thomas for more information. *Note the new day to meet!

GUYS & WINGS GET TOGETHER
Attention Men! Join us on Tuesday, April 11, at 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the *Buffalo Wings & Rings on 105 International Dr. in Franklin in Cool Springs for a fun night with guys & wings. Let Michael Mazo know if you can make it. (We will be meeting there on the second Tuesday of each month).

LADIES PRAYER GROUP
All ladies of the congregation are invited to meet on Sunday, April 30, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tea Room to pray. All ladies are welcome to join us as we take a few minutes to pray for each other & those who need prayers. If you or anyone you know needs our prayers, please join us.

LADIES BIBLE CLASS
Ladies Bible Class meets every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Amber Hammond. They will be studying the book of James. Childcare will be provided.. Invite your friends & neighbors!

COME AND GO GAME NIGHT
Come & Go Game Night will meet every 1st & 3rd Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Tea Room.

SPRING QUARTER
The Spring Quarter has begun. Pick up a brochure in the foyer for a list of classes.
